We do not store your card details
When you enter your credit or debit card number at checkout, that information goes directly to the payment processor - not to us. CoinGate Gift Cards never receives, stores, or has access to your full card number, CVV, or expiry date.

The payment processors we work with are PCI DSS Level 1 certified - the highest level of security standard in the card payment industry. This means your card data is encrypted from the moment you enter it.
What CoinGate Gift Cards does store
We keep a record of your order details - such as the gift card you purchased, the amount, and the transaction status. We may also store a tokenised reference provided by the payment processor, which lets us handle refunds if needed. This token cannot be used to make new charges.

By not storing raw card data, we reduce the risk of your payment information being exposed in the unlikely event of a security incident on our end. Your card details remain only with the processor, under strict industry controls.
